Online Repeat Prescription & Appointment Management Service

January 2016: Changes to systmonline for Repeat Medication ordering

In December TPP (The online system supplier) made some changes to systmonline for Repeat Medication ordering.

To order medication, log on as usual, click on “medication” (left hand side of home page), then click on “medication” again (left hand side of page) to bring up your repeat prescription list, select required medication and click on “request existing medication”. Another screen will appear and this is where you need to type a message (should you need to) then click “request medication” for a second time.

PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON ”MAKE CUSTOM REQUEST”.

Please call the surgery if you are still having problems. We apologise on behalf of Systmone!

New Pilot Service

You can now view and request your repeat prescriptions & appointments by logging on to a new service on the internet. Manage your health easily wherever you are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Please note that at this stage the online appointment management service is just a PILOT and only a limited number of doctors appointments will be available to book.

View your Medical Record Online

You are now able to view detailed/summary information from your record via our SystmOnline Services. This will include information containing medication, allergies and adverse reactions that you may have had.

To access your records you will need to complete the application form below and have read the information leaflet “Online Services Records Access, Patient information leaflet It’s your choice”.

Please note that patients will have to wait for record access as this requires GP approval. Patients will then be advised separately once approved.

When requesting records access please consider the implications contained on page 2 of the leaflet “Online Services Records Access: Patient information “its your choice” and in particular coercion.

How do I use this new online service?

If you don't have a login username/password yet, all you need to do is drop in to one of our branches with 2 forms of ID, one containing a photograph of yourself and one containing proof of your home address (passport, driving licence, recent council tax or utility bill), and have a word with one of our dispensers or receptionists. You will also need to bring in a completed Application form for online access to my medical record form.

Your login details will then be posted to you, so that you can re-order repeat prescriptions online from your own personal list of current repeat medication. There's no longer any need to type out all the medication you'd like to order! You will also be able to manage your appointments immediately. Please note that patients will have to wait for record access as this requires GP approval. Patients will then be advised separately once approved.

Please note: When booking appointments online these should only be for the person that is registered to access the system. Booking appointments for anyone else (e.g. family members) who are not registered for online services should be done so by contacting the surgery. If the appointment you are seeking is not displayed then please telephone the surgery to check availability.

Please only register for this service after 11:00am to avoid the busy early morning periods.

Kindly note that due to complexities we are regrettably unable to offer online services to patients under the age of 16.

Please be aware that using internet browsers to remember passwords when logging on to our online service can cause issues, particularly in the future when passwords are changed.
