The College Partnership Team dedicates itself to providing you with the best care. We have 12 doctors (8 Male and 4 female), and 1 salaried doctor (female), who see our patients at all of our sites. Our Practice Staff are on hand to answer any queries you may have, and assist you when you visit the Surgeries.
Michael Dixon has been a GP in Cullompton, Devon for 26 years. He has been chair of NHS Alliance, representing primary care, PCTs and practice based commissioners since 1998.
He was a founder member of the Mid Devon Doctors group in 1993 and was its Chair through its evolution from Locality Commissioning Group through GP Commissioning Pilot in 1998 to Primary Care Group in 1999.
Dr Black trained in Scotland, and moved to Devon 5 years ago, when she joined the practice. She specialises in women's health and fits IUDs and implanons at the surgery.
Dr Clare Matthews works 3 days a week between Uffculme and Cullompton surgeries. She worked as a Retainer before joining the practice in 2000. Dr Matthew's main interest is women's and sexual health.
Dr Andrew Smith has been a GP since 1997. His special interests are urgent & emergency care. Dr Smith currently works 3 days a week as a GP both at Cullompton and Uffculme and the remaining 2 days as Medical Director of South West Ambulance Service Trust.
Dr Hilary Harris is a part time partner working Tuesdays and Thursdays. Dr Harris has been a GP at College Surgery since 1998. She enjoys the variety of General Practice and her interests include walking, cycling, gardening and anything that involves being in the fresh air.
Dr James Rowbury has been a full time partner since 2004. He trained at UCL London qualifying in 1998. Dr Rowbury's interests include training, primary CVD prevention and general practice.
I am delighted to be returning to College Surgery as a Salaried GP. Having grown up in Devon I started my medical training in Birmingham in 2006. I returned to complete my GP training in the Exeter area. This included working for a year at College Surgery, finishing in 2016.
Dr Robinson grew up in Cornwall, and first studied for an English degree before moving to Nottingham for her medical training. In 2008 she moved to Exeter and first worked here at College Surgery in 2010 as a trainee GP.
Dr John Kekwick was born and raised in rural mid Devon. Having left to undertaken undergraduate Medical training in Liverpool, he moved to Bristol where he completed his training in General Practice. He was delighted to take up the position at College Surgery in October 2011.
Dr Greenwood was born and raised on a smallholding in rural Hampshire. He moved to Cardiff to undertake undergraduate medical training, graduating in 2005 and completed his training as a GP in 2010.
Dr Tat started undergraduate medical training in 2004 at the Hull York Medical School and she has since worked in Yorkshire, until commencing GP training in Exeter in 2011. Being Devon born and bred, the decision to come home was an easy one!
Dr Lorna Mason came originally from Worcester and completed her medical training in Birmingham in 2007, having first studied Biology at Exeter University in 1999. She has worked at College surgery since 2012, first as a registrar, then as a locum and currently as a partner GP.
I am originally from West Cork in Ireland and graduated from University College Cork in 2001. After my first year of work I spent a year working in Australia and returned to start my GP training in Oxford in 2003, completing this in 2006.
